Decarbonization of Textile, Apparel, and Footwear Suppliers Fund (DTAFS)
SIMA is the mandated Fund Manager for a new initiative co-created and anchored by the International Finance Corporation (IFC). The fund will provide debt financing for decarbonization and sustainability investments across textile, apparel, and footwear suppliers. The fund is expected to be operational by Spring 2026, with a target size of $400 million.
SIMA is seeking an Analyst / Associate to support fund activities in Vietnam, including pipeline development, investment analysis, deal preparation, and portfolio monitoring.
Duties and Responsibilities

Support pipeline development efforts by conducting market research and helping identify potential companies within the textile, apparel, and footwear value chain

Assist in evaluating target companies’ business models, financial performance, and operating environments

Support the preparation of investment applications and internal memos for pre-concept and Investment Committee review

Conduct financial analysis, credit analysis, and basic modeling under the guidance of senior team members

Support due diligence activities, including site visits, data collection, and coordination with clients and external advisors

Assist with portfolio monitoring, including financial, operational, and impact reporting

Help prepare internal templates, pitch materials, presentations, and reporting tools in collaboration with the global SIMA team

Provide analytical and execution support on additional regional transactions as needed
Qualifications

2–5 years of experience in finance, investment analysis, banking, consulting, or a related field

Foundational understanding of corporate finance, credit analysis, or lending preferred

Exposure to emerging markets, sustainability, renewable energy, or industrial sectors is a plus

Strong analytical and Excel/financial modeling skills

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a global team

Strong written and verbal communication skills

High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and willingness to learn

Demonstrated interest in impact investing, climate finance, sustainability, or social impact

Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, engineering, or a related field

MBA, CFA Level I/II, or other relevant certifications are a plus but not required

Fluency in Vietnamese and English (written and spoken) is required
